Geese Theatre Company
performed an interactive and thought provoking improvised play
on the theme of different abused women’s dilemmas and
difficulties when confronted with agencies of the criminal
justice system.
Geese Theatre Company are the
only national touring company in the UK to work primarily within
the Criminal Justice System. The main focus of their work is to
challenge offending behaviour through drama and theatre with
offenders either in prison or on probation.
Though one-off interactive
performances, drama workshops and residencies, as well as
long-term partnerships with fourteen Probation services, Geese
aims to enable participants to examine their own behaviour and
explore the possibility of change.
Geese use similar techniques
to explore relevant issues with professionals involved in the
Criminal Justice System.
